The Fortnite World Cup Qualifiers are in full swing, having kicked off on April 13. The survivors of those competitions will join the grand championship, the Fortnite World Cup Finals, happening in New York City on July 26 - 28. Epic Games isn't done with competitive Fortnite though.
Ever since Fortnite Creative was released at the end of last year, it's been one of the more enjoyable and weirder parts of the Fortnite zeitgeist. Today, Epic Games announced Fortnite World Cup Creative, a different kind of competition. Like PAX Omegathon event, players will have to face five different events created by community creators.
Ahead of the Fortnite World Cup Creative Finals, there will five showcase events running from April 29 - June 7. Each week, the community can try out each trial, and then submit their best playthrough on YouTube. From this pool, winners will be selected to participate in the Fortnite World Cup Creative Finals, with a chance to win a bit of the $3 million prize pool.
The first trial will be created and judged by YouTube creator Cizzorz. Players who want to participate in the trials should check Fortnite's official social media channels for more information.
