Fortnite Players Can't Remove Back Bling After Season 5 Update
The option for “No Back Bling” is not working for many players since the launch of Season 5.
Fortnite Season 5 just dropped and brought with it a ton of awesome new content, including new skins, a new Battle Pass, and a new location. Since the update went live, many players have been reporting a bug which removes the option to select no Back Bling for their character.
The reports started to surface earlier today, with one Redditor even posting a video highlighting the issue. When selecting no Back Bling in the customization menu, the change isn’t applied, and as a result, the player cannot remove Back Bling in Fortnite. There are more and more posts cropping up about the issue, so it does seem to be pretty widespread.
Epic Games has yet to comment on the bug, what with the Season 5 update being so fresh and all, but given the company’s history with bugs it’ll likely be sorted out soon. It’s worth noting that while many players cannot remove Back Bling from their characters, they can still cycle between different options, so are still able to use all of the Back Bling accessories that they own.
Today is a huge day for the ever-popular battle royale shooter, as Season 5 is now live. New areas Paradise Palms and Lazy Links have been added to the game, as well as a Golf Cart, the game’s first fully-fledged vehicle.
