Fortnite Season 9 is Teasing Something Tilted Towers-Related

Too soon, Epic. Don't toy with our emotions like this.

Over the past weekend, a live event took place within Fortnite Battle Royale, which basically resulted in numerous locations on the map, including Tilted Towers, getting obliterated. Now, a new Fortnite Season 9 teaser is pointing towards something to do with the destroyed location.

"The future is tilted," reads the caption on the tweet that you can see below. This is the third Fortnite Season 9 teaser we've had this week, with past captions reading "the future is bright." It definitely seems like a futuristic theme is on the cards for the new season of Battle Royale, which launches tomorrow on May 9.

But is that caption on the new teaser a reference to Tilted Towers? Because since Tilted Towers has now been destroyed, you can logically assume that the future would definitely not be tilted.

New Fortnite seasonal events always change up the Battle Royale map in some way. At the beginning of the current seasonal event (Season 8), the lagoon and volcano locations were introduced in the northeastern corner of the Fortnite map. Could Tilted Towers return in some new form for Fortnite Season 9?

When Fortnite Season 9 does launch, there'll be a brand new Battle Pass to purchase, which should retail for right around $10. For everything else you need to know about the new season, head over to our Fortnite Season 9 guide.
