Fortnite V6.02 Patch Notes Released, Include New Quad Launcher

Plus Disco Domination!

Epic has published the latest patch notes for Fortnite Battle Royale. Patch notes V6.02 features the new Quad Launcher weapon, as well as the debut of the Disco Domination mode.

Just below, you can see the Quad Launcher in action. It basically functions as a semi automatic RPG, firing four rockets towards opponents and structures before reloading.

Elsewhere in patch V6.02 for Fortnite, there's the introduction of the Disco Domination mode. This is an LTM (limited time mode), so it won't be a permanent introduction for Battle Royale. You'll have to team up in two teams of 50 players, basically acting as a capture the flag mode but with dance floors spread across the map.

Epic notes that this patch is going to come in at a significantly larger download than usual on Xbox One, weighing in at around 10GB. This update will fix an issue that caused buildings and cosmetics to load in slowly. The Port-a-Fortress has also returned for Battle Royale player in the patch.

Elsewhere in Battle Royale news, the Week 3 Challenges aren't live yet, but we already know the full slate. Head over to our complete Fortnite Week 3 Challenges, for a breakdown of all seven upcoming tasks.
