Fortnite Gets new Heavy Shotgun

Fortnite Gets new Heavy Shotgun

With the new updates, Fortnite players may find themselves living in a shotgun shack.

Happy Thursday, Fortnite Battle Royale fans. This glorious new day dawns with two treats for you. First, the Heavy Shotgun is now available. Second, Fortnite's Week 5 challenges are live and ready to test your skills. Hope you're good at finding gas stations. Just follow your nose.

The official Fortnite Twitter account Tweeted about the joyous arrival of the Heavy Shotgun last night. It arrived today at 8 a.m. ET, though no downtime was required for the upgrade, so you might not have noticed. It was dropped into the game as neatly as a stork drops a baby down a chimney (that's how babies come into this world, right? My mother would never lie).

As for Fortnite's Week 5 challenges, they're chock full of hunting, searching, and fighting. Our Fortnite Week 5 challenges guide will help you power through your new tasks, so feel free to take a look. You'll also want to read up our guide to Fortnite's best weapons. If you're one of the many fans currently playing the game on the road, don't forget to peer at our Fortnite mobile guide.
