Fortnite Datamine Reveals a New Combat-Free Map
The Party Royale mode has been datamined from the latest patch.
It looks like Fortnite Battle Royale is getting a combat-free map. Some brand new leaks through today's new patch for the game seem to point to Epic implementing a 'Party Royale' limited time mode, that takes away all combat.
There's a datamined description for the new Party Royale mode just below, from regular Fortnite dataminer Lucas7Yoshi. This certainly sounds like a tropical paradise, where you'll be able to hang out with friends and complete various challenges and take part in activities around the entire map.

Party Royale
Welcome to the Party! Leave your weapons and mats behind and hang out with friends, play games, perfect your skydive and more. The party's just getting started!
If you want an actual look at the new Party Royale map itself, check out the datamined map just below. You can see little icons relating to specific activities all over the map, for example there's a soccer icon, a gliding icon for what we assume will be challenges, and finally an icon relating to vehicles. Race tracks are nothing new to Fortnite Battle Royale, of course.
We're getting a new 'Party Royale' LTM!

We don't yet have a release date for the Party Royale mode in Fortnite. Elsewhere today, Deadpool has a brand new skiing minigame in the menus section of Fortnite Battle Royale, where you'll need to avoid Peely bananas trying to murder you to get as far down a mountain as possible.
