Fortnite's New LTM Lets You Be The Real John Wick
Goodbye knockoff John Wick skin.
John Wick was rumored to be making an appearance in Fortnite, but today it's official. As part of a promotion for the new film John Wick 3: Parabellum, Fortnite is kicking off a new, assassin-themed Limited Time Mode (LTM).
Called John Wick's Bounty, the new LTM was data-mined ahead of its official release. The mode is basically a collection of John Wick-themed challenges that can unlock some John Wick-themed cosmetics. These include a Coin Back Bling based on the fictional gold doubloons in the John Wick series, a One Shot Glider, and Boogeyman Warp.
Fortnite is also selling an official John Wick skin separately. Fortnite added an unofficial "John Wick" skin way back in 2018, but this one actually looks like Keanu Reeves. The other rewards can be won by simply playing the LTM.
The way the Wick's Bounty mode works is by collecting gold coins. This can be done by eliminating players. One kill equals one coin, plus any additional coins your victim was holding at the time. The top three players will be designated as "Bounty Leaders" and are displayed in a HUD scoreboard.
If a player earns 250 coints they will get a special tag that further identifies them. At 400 they become visible on the map and compass when they shoot, and at 600 they will be permanently visible on the map for everyone. They also gain the "alt Wick skin" similar to how players can become Thanos in the Endgame LTM. The first player to reach 1,000 coins wins.

This is the latest movie tie-in for Fortnite, and it's cool the developers finally have an official John Wick skin. The last one was probably kind of pushing it in terms of copyright. Check out our Fortnite guide for tips to become the best assassin in Fortnite.
