Ghostbusters World Tips and Tricks

There’s a lot to take on during the early hours of Ghostbusters World, and it’s not always explained in the best way. Luckily for you and any other fledgling Ghostbusters out there, we’ve pulled together some essential tips and tricks to get ahead early on. Check it out below:

  • Learn to Counter, it’ll save your life later on
  • Don’t use the auto controls, they become less and less viable as you progress
  • Ghost ranking is not always indicative of strength. For example, a D rank on a powerful ghost can often be better than an S rank on a weak ghost.
  • Catch duplicate ghosts and destabilize them for cash and items. You can then use those rewards to rank up your best ghosts.
  • You’ll need to rank up your ghosts to unlock new moves
  • Use the slam attack when trying to get a ghost into a trap, it works a charm
  • While not as fun, it’s a lot easier to catch ghosts with AR turned off.
  • Try to load up the game at least once a day, you’ll get bonuses for doing so.

Ghostbusters World Remote Gates Explained

One of the most useful items that you can get ahold of in Ghostbusters World is the Remote Gate. It is essentially a portable tem stash that you can place down. You’ll get items for visiting it every 15 minutes, and can pay Gems to move it around. Other players cannot see or use the Remote Gates that you put down, though they can be useful if you place them in areas that you visit frequently.
