God of War might be one of the most technically impressive and dazzling games to date on the PlayStation 4, but it wasn't always this way during the five year development process.
In the first developer diary from God of War director Cory Barlog, posted just below, the director explains that Faye's corpse fell victim to a pretty weird bug "for the longest time" during the development process.
In the section of the game where Atreus is praying to the body of his mother before cremating her remains, the body of Faye would actually move due to a bug. Thank god this bug didn't make it to the final version of the game, as it would've turned one of the most crucial scenes in God of War completely on its head for a comedy moment.
There will be more development diary videos from Sony Santa Monica director Cory Barlog posted on the official PlayStation YouTube channel in the future, and we'll be sure to highlight any interesting and intriguing bits of information that the director happens to unveil.
