Ubisoft revealed its newest IP today during its E3 2019 press conference. Titled, Gods and Monsters, it's a new game from the Assassin's Creed: Odyssey team coming out in 2020.
Gods and Monsters is a colorful new IP set in ancient Greece. Similar to Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Gods and Monsters explores the mythology of ancient Greece. Gods and Monsters boasts a colorful, stylized art style, which is quite different from its other games which sport a more realistic aesthetic.
Gods and Monsters is likely the rumored Project Orpheus, Ubisoft's new IP that was said to have an art style similar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Gods and Monsters certainly looks the part, but aside from a very brief teaser and release date not much else is known about the new game.
Gods and Monsters capped off Ubisoft's E3 2019 press conference. Other announcements from today's show included the reveal for Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six: Quarantine, and a new Ubisoft subscription service.
Gods and Monster is coming out on February 25, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, Stadia, and PC via Uplay.
