Gran Turismo Sport's Special $46,000 Bundle Comes With An Actual Car

Gran Turismo Sport's Special $46,000 Bundle Comes With An Actual Car

But there's only one in existence.

What's the most you'll pay for a Limited or Collector's Edition bundle? $100? $200? How about $46,600? That's how much one person paid for a special Gran Turismo Sport bundle offered by Sony Interactive Entertainment Taiwan. It was up there with other expensive gaming bundles, but this one is notable because it came with an actual car.

The core offering in the bundle was a special edition 2018 Mazda MX-5, with Gran Turismo Sport decals and the PlayStation 4 logo right on the grill. It helps that the 2018 Mazda MX-5 hasn't been released yet; this is the only way to get the car currently. Given that the 2017 model costs around $27,270 to $35,800 according to a quick search, that's means there's a bit of gap between the potential price of the new model and the bundle's cost. So let's see what that gap gets you.

The full bundle comes with:

  • Special Edition 2018 Mazda MX-5
  • Gran Tursimo Sport
  • PlayStation 4 Pro (1TB)
  • PlayStation VR
  • Sony Bravia KD-65A1(64.5" 4K HDR OLED TV)
  • Thrustmaster T-GT racing wheel
  • APIGA AP1 racing seat
  • 1 Year of PlayStation Plus

Sony was only selling one of these special bundles and one happy person has already purchased and drove away with their goodies. If you're a fan with a love of Mazda and Gran Turismo Sport, it seems like it's a good deal, no?

Gran Turismo Sport is available today, October 17, for PlayStation 4.
