If you've been looking forward to Arc System Works' Granblue Fantasy Versus, then we've got good news for you. The developer today announced that the PC version of Granblue will be releasing in the middle of next month, shortly after the PS4 release date in the US.
Granblue Fantasy Versus releases on March 13 for PC. Specifically, the PC version of the game will be launching on Steam, but as the Japanese website for the game points out, PC players won't be able to play with or against those on PS4.
Additionally on the Japanese website for Granblue Fantasy Versus, the Japanese release date for the PC version of the game is March 14, a day later. Taking time differences into account however, the website notes that the game will release a day earlier on March 13 in the US.
The PC launch of Granblue Fantasy Versus in the US comes 10 days after the PS4 version of the game, which is set to launch on March 3. This in turn comes just a month after the Japanese PS4 release of the game. It's fair to say Granblue's launch on all platforms has been a bit staggered.
Our Eric Van Allen is extremely excited about Granblue Fantasy Versus. You can expect his coverage of the final product to go live next week alongside the final launch of the game on PS4. Aside from a straight up fighting mode, Granblue Fantasy Versus has an RPG-style single-player system, which reminded Eric of Soulcalibur's story modes.
