Grasshopper Manufacture and GungHo Online Entertainment announced that the free-to-play death RPG Let it Die is coming to PC this fall.
Originally an exclusive on the PlayStation 4, Let it Die was called "supremely shitty" by Japanese game magazine Famitsu, but that's a badge of honor according to GunHo's CEO..
The news of Let it Die's PC release comes by way of GameSpot but doesn't seem to say whether or not the PC version will come with any new features or changes. Let it Die amassed four million downloads on the PS4 as of April 2018.
Let it Die is an online action game where players are tasked by the Grim Reaper named Uncle Death with climbing a labyrinth tower and fighting enemies and bosses. Players begin naked and hungry and must find clothes, armor, and food in order to survive the fight up the tower.
Let it Die features a mechanic called "death data" where if a player dies, their character build comes back as a powerful enemy that can be encountered in another player's game. It's kind of like a passive version of Dark Souls' invasion mechanic.
Grasshopper Manufacture is currently working on Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes for the Nintendo Switch. While not quite No More Heroes 3, this is the first Travis Touchdown game since No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle for the Wii.
