Grimes' Cyberpunk 2077 Character Sounds Pretty Traumatic

Grimes sheds some light on her in-game character.

We previously knew that Grimes would be featured on the soundtrack of Cyberpunk 2077, fronting an in-game band. We now know a few more details about "Lizzy Wizzy," Grimes' in-game character.

Over the last weekend, Grimes aired a livestream on her YouTube channel discussing her upcoming album, "Miss Anthropocene." During the Q&A, which you can see in full below, the singer briefly discusses her Cyberpunk 2077 character.

Over on the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit, Grimes' comments about her character were chronicled in full. Click the spoiler tag on the Reddit post below if you want to know further details about Lizzy Wizzy, but fair warning, it all sounds pretty traumatic.

Below, you can see the 4ÆM track from Grimes, that will feature on the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack. Grimes actually performed the track live back at The Game Awards 2019 in December, in a concert that also featured CHVRCHES performing their track for the Death Stranding soundtrack.

The Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack features a pretty star-studded lineup. So far Run the Jewels, Refused, A$AP ROCKY, and Grimes have all been confirmed to be appearing on the soundtrack in some form. Grimes is the only one that's additionally performing as an in-game character, though.

After being delayed out of an April launch, Cyberpunk 2077 will now launch on September 17, 2020. We recently found out that CD Projekt's game will have "around 75" bespoke street stories, but the multiplayer component of the game won't be launching until after 2021.
