GTA Online After Hours Out Now, Can Be Played Without a PS Plus Subscription for the Next Two Weeks

PlayStation only I'm afraid.

GTA Online: After Hours is available starting today for free. Players who dream of running their own night club empire in Los Santos can now do so thanks to the latest free update. As a bonus, PlayStation players can play GTA Online without a PS Plus subscription until August 6, though this is a promotion limited to PlayStation players (Sorry Xbox fans).

GTA Online: After Hours lets players run a nightclub in Los Santos, complete with customized décor and celebrity DJs. Gay Tony also returns to guide players through the high-end life of nightlife entertainment. Players will be responsible for securing the club's maintenance. Hire bar and security staff, get equipment, hire DJs, and promote your venue to make sure that it's a hit with the locals.

Rockstar announced a slate of celebrity DJs from the real-world who will be dropping by Los Santos to play in your club. Each DJ has a special mission that needs to be completed before they play at your spot, but if you can manage it then you'll get Solomun (July 24), Tale of Us (July 31), Dixon (August 7), and The Black Madonna (August 14) as a guest DJ for your club.

As previously mentioned PlayStation players can play GTA Online without paying for a PS Plus subscription until August 6th. Players who own GTA 5 can play GTA Online with no subscription fee. Additionally, PlayStation players can purchase 15 months of PS Plus for the price of a 12-month subscription and receive a bonus GTA $1,250,00 and GTA $200,000 every week for 7 weeks.

GTA Online continues to be a massive success for Rockstar Games as players continue to log into the world of Los Santos years after the initial release of Grand Theft Auto 5. Rockstar is currently working on Red Dead Redemption 2, and if that game features an online mode as half as successful as GTA 5's then Rockstar would be set for the next couple of years. You can see our Red Dead Redemption 2 guide for all the trailers, news, and release info.
