GTA Online Nightlife Expansion “After Hours” Launches Next Week, Brings Back Gay Tony

“I don’t think you can say Gay Tony anymore, the internet will go crazy.”

Rockstar has announced that the upcoming GTA Online After Hours DLC will launch on July 24. Players will be able to run their very own nightclub, and use it as a front for their other, less legal business ventures.

We’ve known about the Nightlife expansion in GTA Online for a little while now, with Rockstar dropping a brief teaser last month. Now though, thanks to a brand new trailer (featuring a very 2018 meta-joke regarding Gay Tony’s name), we have a good idea as to what players will be getting up to.

Most notable is the return of Gay Tony, a much-loved character from GTA IV’s best DLC, The Ballad of Gay Tony. He’ll be overseeing things and acting as the benefactor to the player’s own nightclub business. From the looks of things in the trailer, the new nightclub spaces will serve a few functions. You can use them as a hub to run all of your other businesses through, and to store your vast selection of vehicles.

Players can also book DJs to play in their clubs, with real-world acts like Solomun, Tale Of Us, Dixon and The Black Madonna all featuring in the game. On top of all of that, there will be exclusive vehicle skins and outfits to help you look the part, as you use your nightclub to launder funds made during your criminal escapades.

You’ll be able to check out the After Hours DLC on July 24, though no details have been released on pricing. If you’re looking to get ahead in the base game, you should check out our GTA 5 Cheats Guide.
