Ready or not, Hearthstone's second expansion of 2019 is nearly upon us. Titled Saviors of Uldum, the theme of the new set sees heroes from 2015's League of Explorers return to face off against the League of EVIL who were introduced with this year's Rise of Shadows set.
In our guide to the next expansion we've got all the information you need to know, from the global release date to new mechanics, the return of Quest cards, and plenty more besides.
Once the expansion is out in August our friends at sister-site Metabomb will be producing in-depth guides to playing all the new decks. We'll add links to those articles as soon as they're ready, so you can start tucking into all the latest deck creations.

Plague Cards in Saviors of Uldum
April's Rise of Shadows expansion introduced Scheme cards to Hearthstone. These unique spells grow in power for each turn they remain idle in your hand, building up to an explosive play in the process.
This time around we'll get to mess around with Plague cards. These are big, impactful cards designed to be utilized in the late-game - and they'll make their impact on both sides of the board as well.
One example given is the Priest's Plague of Death. This is a 9 Mana spell which silences and then destroys all minions on the board. That means any buffs or Deathrattle cards will be removed from minions before they all evaporate!
Quests in Saviors of Uldum
Quests were a popular - although not always competitive - concept introduced with April 2017's Journey to Un'Goro set.
Costing one Mana (and invariably played on Turn 1), these quests challenged you to complete certain card play objectives in exchange for a juicy reward.
Saviors of Uldum brings the concept back to life with a fresh set of Quest cards, which will hopefully benefit from a bit of design hindsight.
The Druid gets Untapped Potential this time around. If you play this card and then end four turns with even one point of Mana left in the bank, you'll receive a new hero power: Ossirian Tear.
This is a passive effect that causes both effects from the Druid's arsenal of Choose One cards to be triggered.
Saviors of Uldum Reborn Keyword
Every expansion introduces a new keyword mechanic to the game, and Saviors of Uldum is no exception.
The way this works is pretty simple. Any minion that possesses Reborn will be re-summoned onto the board upon death. The catch, however, is that they only resurrect with one point of health.
An example given is Restless Mummy. This Warrior-exclusive card costs 4 Mana, has 3 / 2 stats, and also includes the Rush keyword.
That means it can attack an enemy minion on the same turn it's played, then respawn with one point of health when it dies and chip in for another three points of damage.
