Hector Can't Catch a Break in New Netflix Castlevania Season 3 Trailer

Hector Can't Catch a Break in New Netflix Castlevania Season 3 Trailer

At least give the man some pants.

A bloody red Valentine's gift has arrived from Netflix's Castlevania series. A new trailer for season three dropped this morning ahead of its March release date, and now we've got a pretty good idea of where Trevor, Sypha, and Alucard are headed.

The trailer picks up where season two of Castlevania left off. Vlad Dracula Tepes is dead, at the hands of the three protagonists, including a still-mourning Alucard. But despite the big bad vampire being dead, there are plenty of monsters still roaming the countryside, and some forces still making their moves for the control—or destruction—of humanity.

Yeah, Hector's still got it pretty tough. The second season saw him go from naive forgemaster to Camilla's pet, and now he doesn't even have pants. It's a long way down from Curse of Darkness for our old pal Hector.

Fellow former forgemaster Isaac looks to be on the hunt for more bodies for his army of vengeance too, but really, I'm digging all the fight animation we see in this trailer. I am always onboard for more scenes of Sypha doing awesome elemental magic.

The third season of Netflix's Castlevania will premiere on March 5, 2020. If you're itching for some Castlevania to play, your best bet is one of the various throwback collections. Or possibly Bloodstained, the Symphony of the Night spiritual successor from Koji Igarashi.
