Total War: Warhammer 2 combines the RTS gameplay of the Total War franchise with the popular Warhammer RPG universe. The first Total War Warhammer game came out last year. Right now, the game is in the finishing stages of development and Creative Assembly is working on a host of graphical improvements for the sequel including a new volumetric fog system, and a new sharpening filter.

Our review of the first Total War: Warhammer called the game a "pretty good entry point" into the series, but also a "refreshing take" for longtime fans who might have gotten burnt out by the last several entries.

Total War: Warhammer 2 hits PCs on September 28.
