Here's a Trailer For Something By PlayerUnknown Called Prologue

It's a new project from the maker of PUBG.

In a night full of world premieres, PlayerUnknown dropped an extremely cryptic teaser for something called "Prologue." It seems like a short, almost P.T.-style teaser for whatever might be next from the maker of one of the first big battle royales, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

A short teaser with lots of rain, an ominous forest, and dogs barking in the distance ends with a simple URL to go check out "PlayPrologue.com."

The site just has an email sign-up right now for more information right now, but it does also have a description of what Prologue is or might become:

"Prologue is an exploration of new technologies and gameplay. Our aim with this game is to give players unique and memorable experiences, each and every time they play."

Whatever it is, it's what PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds creator Brendan Greene has been working on since leaving the development team of PUBG. In a press release, Greene emphasized the opportunity to try something new on a large stage with his new team, PlayerUnknown Productions.

"Our studio was founded with the goal of exploring, experimenting, and creating new technologies and gameplay experiences,” Greene says. “With prologue, we are taking our first steps toward building new technologies and interactions that will help develop my ideas into reality."
