Here's the First Gameplay Trailer for Destiny 2

A tower falls.

Bungie's world premiere event for Destiny 2 in Los Angeles unveiled the anticipated sequel to the world, including a new gameplay trailer that shows of all the new guns, mechanics, armor, and everything else you could possibly want to see from Destiny 2.

The official gameplay trailer begins with the fall of the Tower from the first game. As the Cabal's Red Legion invades Earth, the trailer quickly cycles through the new stuff in Destiny 2, including a greater emphasis on the Destiny Vanguards who will play a larger role in the story.

The trailer mixes in the story moments with gameplay, and even uses the trailer to explain why guns won't carry over from the first Destiny to Destiny 2 (you lose it all when the Red Legion invades).

Soak in the trailer and get ready to reclaim your light when Destiny 2 hits PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 8.
