Here's the First Gameplay Trailer for MLB The Show 18, Featuring Babe Ruth

The first gameplay trailer for MLB The Show 18 is here, and San Diego Studio is teasing a lot of new features both major and under-the-hood.

In a blog post made on the official PlayStation website, San Diego Studio announced that Road to The Show, Diamond Dynasty, Battle Royale, Conquest, and Franchise Mode will all be returning in the newest MLB title.

The studio also announced Babe Ruth as one of the new Legends coming to MLB The 18, introduced in the trailer as making his famous shot-call.

Other new features outlined in the blog post include unnamed expansions coming to Road to the Show, dynamic crowds, unique home run celebrations, a revamped hitting engine, rewritten player tagging system, and over 1,000 new gameplay animations.

The MLB The Show team will also outline further details before the game's March release through video blogs and Twitch livestreams. No exact dates for when these livestreams will happen, but that all live shows will start at 2 pm PT.

MLB The Show is set to come out on PlayStation 4 on March 27.
