Here's the Voice Cast for Netflix's Castlevania Animated Series, Which is Coming Out Real Soon

Seriously, next week!

Can you believe Netflix's Castlevania series is only a week away? That's right, the animated adaptation of the popular Konami vampire-hunting series (which kind of snuck up on everyone) is coming on July 7 and we finally have a look at the voice cast. Veteran actors from popular movies and TV shows like Peter Jackson's The Hobbit, Battlestar Galactica, and Max Headroom will be lending their dulcet tones to the Gothic action-adventure series.

In a video hosted by Castlevania producer Adi Shankar and Dracula voice actor Graham McTavish (The Hobbit), the two ran down a list of the actors who will be voicing the Netflix animated series. The list includes Richard Armitage (also from The Hobbit) as Trevor Belmont and James Callis (Battlestar Galactica) as Alucard.

Additionally, Alejandra Reynoso will play Sypha Belnades, Emily Swallow (The Mentalist) will play Dracula's wife, Lisa Tepes, Matt Frewer (Max Headroom) voices a character known only as "The Bishop", and Tony Amendola (Stargate SG-1) will play "The Elder".

The Netflix Castlevania series is written by comic book writer Warren Ellis and follows the last surviving member of a "disgraced clan" who must fight Dracula. The series is supposedly very violent but I'm more interested in the scenic shots of Gothic horror one can see briefly in the trailer.

Castlevania will premiere via Netflix on July 7.
