Here's Troy Baker's Death Stranding Character in Action

Golden boy.

What the hell actually is Death Stranding? Every time we see the game, we come away with more questions than answers, and this latest trailer for the game, released at the Tokyo Games Show 2018 this past weekend, is no exception.

You can see the latest trailer for Kojima Productions' game just below, which features a very shiny Troy Baker. This trailer is markedly shorter than previous trailers for Death Stranding, some of which have run well over five minutes.

So, it appears that Troy Baker is playing some sort of antagonist to Norman Reedus' character in Death Stranding. It looks like he can summon weird monsters out of the black goo that we've previously seen in footage for the game. Will he be working alongside Mads Mikkelsen's antagonist? At this point, who knows.

As of right now, Death Stranding has no release window, let alone a possible release date. For everything else you need to know about the enigmatic game so far, head over to our Death Stranding guide.

He's written for The Guardian, Paste Magazine, and Kotaku, and he likes waking up when the sun rises and roaming the nearby woods with the bears and the wolves.
