Here's When Destiny 2's Spire of Stars Raid Lair Goes Live

Here's When Destiny 2's Spire of Stars Raid Lair Goes Live

Ready up Guardians.

Destiny 2's next expansion, Warmind, is fast approaching. As part of a information summary posted by Bungie, we know when we'll be able to partake in the next raid lair part of the expansion. The lair challenge will go live on Friday, May 11 at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET. That's three days after the expansion goes live.

The second raid lair for Destiny 2 is called the Spire of Stars and follows the Eater of Worlds. Raid Lairs are new, smaller raids with a single boss encounter and takes place inside the much larger Leviathan raid.

While we don't know what to expect exactly with the Spire of Stars just yet, some redditors have some theories as to what we might be expected to encounter. Just as the previous raid lair, Eater of Worlds, pit players against the Vex, Spire of Stars might have players go up against the Hive and maybe even the Worm God itself.

Ana Bray in Warmind

The Destiny 2 Warmind expansion goes live on May 8. That's three days before the raid lair goes live. Included in the expansion is a brand new story with new character Ana Bray. Bungie is also planning a host of weapon balance changes that will hopefully give players the chance to perform "big hero moments" again.
