Hitman 2 Announces Its First Elusive Target and the Internet Thinks It's Sean Bean

He's always dying.

Elusive targets are coming back to Hitman 2 and IO Interactive revealed the first Elusive Target will be revealed on October 17. Hitman 2 will go on sale on November 13 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

IO teased Elusive Target #1 with a mysterious photo of the target with his face blurred out and the nickname "The Undying" Many guessed that based on the target's features and their nickname that the target is none other than actor Sean Bean, who is known for dying in many of his on-screen roles only to appear in another movie. Quite fitting then to call him "The Undying."

Celebrity targets aren't rare in Hitman. In the first season of Hitman actor Gary Busey was voted over fellow actor Gary Cole to be turned into a celebrity Elusive Target in the first season of Hitman.

Hitman 2 is IO Interactive's sequel to Hitman season 1. Published in partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive, Hitman 2 is the first game from IO Interactive after becoming independent from Square Enix and purchasing back the Hitman IP.
