Hitman 2's New Bank Level Gets a Thrilling Trailer and a Tasteful Sweater

Looking snazzy, Agent 47.

Agent 47 has a new contract. The New York location arrives for all Hitman 2 Expansion Pass or Expansion Pack 1 owners tomorrow, and a new trailer is out, showing new disguises, approaches, and a rather nice sweater.

Set in the Milton-Fitzpatrick investment bank, the contract appears to be set on the head of the firm who definitely has some villainous vibes. The trailer shows people going about their daily routines, punching numbers and patrolling routes, all while Agent 47 slips around in plain sight.

With a new location comes new contract missions, new disguises, new items, and hopefully a bevy of new slapstick ways to eliminate targets. The bank setting seems very promising, as one section looks like Agent 47 taking a Rorschach test. I'm already eager to see how it plays out.

Hitman 2 is a wonderful follow-up to 2016's reboot of the Hitman series, which somehow blends goofy physical comedy with the dire tension of stealth assassination. It's nice to see the game get continued support in the form of more maps; while there's been a new sniper map since launch, it's this new locale that has me really psyched to delve into a new puzzle box and carry out some contracts.

Of all the games where this episodic, standalone entry-format can excel, Hitman really fits. If you want access tomorrow, you'll need to make sure you have the Expansion Pass, as this New York location is not part of the free rollout of Hitman 2 content.
