This guide will show players how to complete the Drama Queen assassination challenge that is part of A Gilded Cage, the new mission for the Marrakesh location in Hitman.
In order for players to complete this assassination challenge, they must meet only two requirements. The first is to disguise yourself as the cameraman, and the second is to assassinate Claus Hugo Strandberg with an explosion during the interview.
Before we get ahead of ourselves, players should make sure they enter the mission with the ICA Remote Explosive equipped. This is unlocked at Mastery Level 20 for The Showstopper mission in Paris. If you don’t have that and don’t feel like grinding it, remote explosives can be found in the school where you kill Reza Zaydan, although we haven’t tried putting them in the camera yet.
Players will also need to complete the Prime Time opportunity to get themselves into a position where they can kill Claus Hugo Strandberg with an explosion and finish the Drama Queen challenge. Read our guide on How to Complete the Prime Time Opportunity, and then return to this page when you’re ready to eliminate Claus, as he prefers to be called.
When the camera is rolling and Pam has started the interview, you’re pretty much free to do what you’d like. To the left of the large camera that’s mounted on the tripod is a smaller one. Approach that with the ICA Remote Explosive in your inventory and you should see the option to place it in the camera. Do so, and then exit the consulate the same way that you entered. Once you’re clear of the building, protestors and any try-hard guards that might interfere with you, detonate the ICA Remote Explosive.
If you’ve already killed Reza Zaydan, your objectives will be complete and it’ll be time for you to escape from Marrakesh. Any option will work, but choose one you haven’t used in the past to earn more points and advance your mastery of A Gilded Cage.
If the Drama Queen challenge isn’t happening for one reason or another, we highly advise that you try A Room with a Moose.
