Hitman's US Episode Contracted for September 27

The fifth episode of Hitman has a release date and a target.

Square Enix and IO Interactive have announced that Hitman Episode 5, which will take place in Colorado, is coming on September 27. This episode, subtitled "Freedom Fighters", also features less of a jet-setting locale for players. This is the next to last episode of Hitman Season One, featuring 70 different challenges and four different targets for players.

Agent 47 has to infiltrate a Colorado compound that's currently acting as a military training camp. Sean Rose, Maya Parvati, Ezra Berg and Penelope Graves aren't soft targets: they each retain military skills, ranging from environmental terrorism to chemical interrogation.

"This is one of the toughest episodes yet. Not only do you have four targets, but from the moment you set foot in Colorado you're on enemy ground," said IO Interactive studio head Hannes Seifert. "'Freedom Fighters' is a key episode, which will add serious momentum to the story and set up an intriguing season finale for players."

The previous episodes included the first episode in Paris, France; Episode 2 in Sapienza, Italy; a third episode in Marrakesh, Morocco; and Episode 4 in Bangkok, Thailand. The season finale, taking place in Japan, will launch later in 2017. Square Enix and IO Interactive have already announced Hitman: The Complete Season for retail, packing every episode for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One into one package on January 31, 2017 for $59.99.

If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
