How to Get a Cat in Little Friends Dogs and Cats

You’ll start Little Friends Dogs and Cats with a dog to raise and train, but when can you get a cat?

Despite its name, Little Friends Dogs and Cats is very much focused on the dog side of things. You actually won't be able to unlock a cat for quite some time, and it’s not immediately obvious how to do so. To help you pick up your very first feline friend, we’ve put together this Little Friends How to Get a Cat Guide. We’ll lead you through the initial steps for getting a cat in Little Friends Dogs and Cats, and then guide you through choosing and placing it in your home.

How to Get a Cat in Litt;e Friends Dogs and Cats

Unfortunately for cat lovers out there, you’ll be stuck with a dog for the start of Little Friends Dogs and Cats. To get a cat, you’ll need to reach level 15, at which point you can visit the Friends Plaza. Here’s how:

  • Once you hit level 15, head to the Going Out section of the menu.
  • The icon for Friends Plaza will be unlocked, and you’ll be able to meet cats.
  • You’ll be presented with three cats, as before, and can choose which one you’d like to adopt.
  • Once you have a cat, you can feed it, dress it up, play with it and pet it.

Little Friends Dogs and Cats: Choosing a Cat

Just like when you selected your dog, there is a Search Friends function which allows you to customize the cat that you’ll get. Select Search Friends and then choose the breed, color pattern and sex of the cat. This will then present you with three candidates, which you can choose your favorite from.
