Borderlands 3 is the largest entry into the series yet, boasting multiple planets to explore, and thousands of guns to loot. And with so much going on it can be easy to take note of the basic things, like how to save your game in Borderlands 3. To help you out, we’ve put together this Borderlands 3 Saving Guide. We’ll walk you through how to save your game in Borderlands 3, and also whether or not there is a manual save system in the game.
How to Save in Borderlands 3
Borderlands 3 has somewhat of a confusing save system. It works almost entirely on an autosave system, and you’ll likely want to wait until you’ve completed your current objective before shutting down your game. You’ll see a small vault arch icon when Borderlands 3 is saving, and we’ve found that heading into the menus and quitting the game properly usually ensure a decent checkpoint save.
Can You Manually Save in Borderlands 3?
At the time of writing, there is no way to manually save your game in Borderlands 3. We recommend quitting out from the main menu to ensure you don’t lose any progress.
