Is Call of Duty Modern Warfare Cross Platform?
In a rather surprising move, Activision as announced that it will be supporting Cross Platform play with Call of Duty Modern Warfare. This means that players between consoles and PC will be able to jump into a game together. Here’s the official statement from Activision and Infinity Ward:
With the launch of Modern Warfare, the team is taking steps to unite the community. First, the team plans for Modern Warfare to be played together across PC and console through cross-play support,
Won’t PC Have an Advantage in Call of Duty Modern Warfare Cross-Play
So, we know that Call of Duty Modern Warfare will support cross-platform play between PC and consoles. The question we have next then, is whether or not PC players will have a significant advantage. At the time of writing, there has been no official statement from Activision on how the balancing will work with Call of Duty Modern Warfare Cross-Platform. We’ll be sure to update if we hear more.
