Juri Punishes Street Fighter V's Roster on July 26

The off-kilter Taewkondo master returns next week.

With San Diego Comic-Con 2016 beginning, Capcom has finally given fans a release date for Street Fighter V's Juri DLC. Juri will be available for all players on July 26, following a short maintenance period.

The sadistic Taekwondo fighter was introduced in Super Street Fighter IV as one of Seth's top agents. Her backstory, which almost no one probably knows, is that Juri joined Seth to get revenge on M.Bison and Shadaloo for killing her parents.

Juri comes back in Street Fighter V with a new latex-heavy jump suit and eyepatch. She's still a kick-heavy fighter, not unlike and evil mirror of Chun-Li. Juri's V-Skill is a charge-based rush attack that kicks the opponent from behind if it connects. Her V-Trigger, Feng Shui Engine Type Alpha, lets Juri cancel her standard attacks, adding a ton of combo potential. Finally, her Critical Art is a flurry of powerful, arcing kicks.

Juri's Story and Premium Battle costumes will become available at launch. Alongside Juri's new look, Capcom is adding Summer swimsuit costumes for Cammy, Ibuki, and Laura. These outfits join the existing Summer costumes for Chun-Li and R. Mika.

That leaves Urien as the final known fighter for Street Fighter V's roster. Given the existing release schedule, it's likely that Urien will launch some time in August. Players can already enjoy the character in the game's Cinematic Story Mode, which launched earlier this month.
