Some customers who pre-ordered the limited-edition Kingdom Hearts 3 PlayStation 4 Pro console could be in for a disappointment after the retailer explained it had oversold pre-orders. GameStop has announced it will be forced to cancel some of those orders as a result.
"Due to an error, we oversold on pre-orders for the LE Kingdom Hearts 3 PlayStation 4 Pro and, unfortunately, some orders had to be canceled." GameStop says that customers who've had their pre-orders canceled will also get a $25 gift coupon as an apology. "We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused."

Customers shouldn't have to worry about refunds as GameStop typically only charges customers once an order ships. But just to be sure, anyone who pre-ordered the limited-edition Kingdom Hearts 3 PS4 Pro should check their order status to see whether or not they've been affected by GameStop's announcement today.
The Kingdom Hearts 3 PS4 Pro bundle retailed for $399.99 and included a copy of Kingdom Hearts 3, and a 1TB PS4 Pro console with a special Kingdom Hearts 3-themed design. The bundle is not currently available for order on GameStop's website. Customers who missed out on the bundle can check second-hand retailers, but be warned that there's usually a mark-up in price.
Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out on January 29 for PS4 and Xbox One. Luckily, you don't need the special Kingdom Hearts 3 PS4 Pro to play the title. Check out our Kingdom Hearts 3 review for our impressions on the latest Square Enix and Disney collaboration.
