Layers of Fear 2 Endings - How to Get the Formless, Flame and Forever Endings

Layers of Fear 2 Endings - How to Get the Formless, Flame and Forever Endings

Layers of Fear 2 actually has 3 different endings that you can unlock. Here’s how.

Layers of Fear 2 is a seriously trippy adventure through a haunted cruise ship. It keeps its cards close to its chest in terms of narrative, especially where the three different endings are concerned. These 3 endings are determined by slight actions you’ll choose throughout the game, and it isn’t at all obvious which one you’ll get first time around. To help the completionists amongst you, we’ve put together this Layers of Fear 2 Endings Guide. We’ll detail exactly how to get the Formless, Flame and Forever Endings, outlining the choices you’ll need to make in each chapter.

Layers of Fear 2 Endings

There are three endings to get in Layers of Fear 2, determined by a series of choices you’ll make while playing. These endings are categorized as obedient, disobedient and balanced. You’ll be asked to do certain things by the director in each chapter. Let’s take a look at each one:

Layers of Fear 2 Flame Ending

The first ending we’re going to take a look at in Layers of Fear 2 is the Flame ending. This is essentially the obedient ending, so you’ll need to do exactly what the director tells you to do. Here are the key choices you’ll need to make.

  • Chapter 1: Shoot the Woman on the right when instructed to.
  • Chapter 2: Take the meat from the dog.
  • Chapter 3: Shoot the woman in the middle.
  • Chapter 4: Turn around and walk into the flames.

Layers of Fear 2 Forever Ending

The next Layers of Fear 2 ending we’re going to detail is the Forever ending. To get this one, you’ll need to disobey the director at every turn. This means doing the exact opposite to what you’re being told, which at times can be unclear. Here are the choices you’ll need to make.

  • Chapter 1: Shoot the man on the left.
  • Chapter 2: Give up. Give the meat to the dog.
  • Chapter 3: Shoot the puppets either side of the woman.
  • Chapter 4: Sprint to the end of the hallway. Run away from the fire.

Layers of Fear 2 Formless Ending

Finally, we have the Formless Ending in Layers of Fear 2. To get this, you’ll need to follow a balanced path. This means performing an equal number of obedient and disobedient choices. Here’s what we recommend:

  • Chapter 1: Shoot the man.
  • Chapter 2: Take the meat.
  • Chapter 3: Shoot the puppets either side of the woman.
  • Chapter 4: Run into the fire.

That’s all the different endings you can get in Layers of Fear 2. We’ll be adding more Layers of Fear 2 guides to the site shortly, so stay tuned for more info.
