Leaked Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One Controller Resembles One of the Game's Most Powerful Factions

Manufactured the Arasaka Corp., apparently.

A new Xbox One controller has surfaced online. Normally this wouldn't be anything of note, but this controller is designed around CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077.

You can see the leaked controller just below. The leaked listing comes from Amazon Canada, and at the time of writing, the product is still available to be viewed and added to your wish list. There isn't a release date scheduled for the Cyberpunk 2077 controller, however.

Yup, that's a controller alright. | Amazon Canada

This new Cyberpunk 2077 controller certainly seems like a safe bet to be genuine. It's worth noting that CD Projekt has previously had marketing partnerships with Microsoft, in particular showing off a a new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 at Microsoft's E3 2019 showcase, as well as more recently offering a free Xbox Series X upgrade for the game when available.

On the left side of the controller, you can see the name of the Arasaka Corp. As explained in the tweet below from the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account, the Arasaka company is an extremely powerful weapons and vehicles manufacturer, as well as a supplier for private security and banking. This reminds me of when a Cyberpunk 2077 producer told me that the wealthier citizens of Night City are mostly Japanese.

Cyberpunk 2077 was actually meant to be releasing today, on April 16, before being delayed to September 17, 2020 earlier this year. But, as CD Projekt's community manager noted yesterday, there won't be any new information about Cyberpunk 2077 being revealed today.
