Luigi’s Mansion 3 Maid Boss Fight - How to Defeat Chambrea

Here's how to beat Chambrea the Maid in Luigi's Mansion 3.

While searching Floor 5 in Luigi’s Mansion 3 for E.Gadd’s briefcase, you’ll come face to face with the Chambrea boss ghost. This boss fight can be pretty tricky if you don’t know how to deal with them, so we’ve outlined a method in this guide. We’ll explain how to beat the Maid boss ghost, so that you can breeze through to the next part of the game.

How to Beat Chambrea the Maid Boss Ghost

You’ll encounter the Maid boss ghost while looking for E.Gadd’s briefcase on 5F. In fact, she’ll swallow it whole, and you’ll need to fight her to get it back. Here’s how:

  1. Notice that the briefcase can be seen in the Maid’s stomach.
  2. Use the suction cup to stick to it.
  3. Now, vacuum up the rope end.
  4. This will allow you to slam her down.
  5. You can do this a couple of times before catching her.

Bring the Maid Back to the Lab

Once you’ve got the Maid’s health down to zero, you can catch her in the Poltergust. Make sure you head back to the lab to drop her off in the gallery, where you’ll be able to see her trapped inside a case.

Using the Suction Cup on Chambrea

You’ll want to practise using the suction cup attack in this fight. It’s an important part of the game. You can Hold Y to display an aiming reticule to make things easier. Alternatively, you can face the Maid and just tap Y, this will auto lock a suction cup onto her.

That’s how to beat Chambrea in LM3. For more on the game, why not check out our guide on collecting Gold. Elsewhere, there’s also our breakdown of where to find all of the gems.
