If you’ve made your way to the Lab Gallery in Luigi’s Mansion 3, you’ll have noticed a slot for Rare Ghosts. Problem is, there’s very little direction as to where to find Rare Ghosts, and you’ll likely beat the game without encountering a single one. How to Catch Rare Ghosts in Luigi’s Mansion 3

To catch Rare Ghosts in Luigi’s Mansion, you’ll need to head to the ScareScraper multiplayer mode. This can be accessed via the main menu, or via the lab. Head into an online game, and then either play with four of your friends or with anyone online. You’ll need to select ‘10 Floors’ as this is the only option that contains Rare Ghosts. Once you get to floor 5, you’ll be asked to catch 7 ghosts. These are Rare Ghosts and will be different in appearance to others you’ve seen before. Just make sure you catch at least one and it’ll register as yours.

Where to View Rare Ghosts

To view the Rare Ghosts that you have caught while playing ScareScraper, head to the Lab. Now open the Gallery, select Ghosts and cycle through to Rare Ghosts. There are 9 slots for Rare Ghosts, so make sure you find them all!
