It's the time of year to announce the next entry into EA Sports' long-running Madden franchise. Madden NFL 20 will be coming out on August 2 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC with NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes as the cover athlete.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was a star last football season, and he even contributed to this year's new Face of the Franchise: QB1 mode for EA. This is Madden 20's new personalized career campaign that lets players create their own college quarterback and take them through the College Football National Championship, NFL Combine, NFL Draft, and eventually to a starter quarterback in the NFL.
Another new feature in this year's Madden 20 is Superstar X-Factor, which gives star players unique abilities that accurately represent their skills on the field. "The team this year wanted to ensure that the superstars of the NFL responded and played differently in all aspects in Madden, just as they do on the field every Sunday," said Madden 20 executive producer Seann Graddy. Other additions include new player celebrations, new run/pass option plays, and unique playbooks.
Pre-orders for Madden 20 are available now, and the Superstar Edition includes 12 Gold Team Fantasy Packs, a choice of one out of 32 core elite players from favorite NFL teams, one small training quick sell pack in Ultimate Team, and a choice of one unique Legends Superstar ability for your created quarterback in Face of the Franchise: QB1.
Expect to see more for Madden 20 at this year's EA Play during E3.
