Madden senior producer Carlos Guerrero is no longer at EA after two months in the position following a violation of undisclosed EA policies.
EA issued an official statement to Guerrero's departure which Game Informer reported. No further details have been released other than this official statement:
"Due to behavior that is against EA policies, including our Global Code of Conduct & Respectful Workplace policy, Carlos Guerrero is no longer with EA. We don't have any further comments."
Guerrero previously worked at Blizzard as a senior game producer on Overwatch as well as contributing work to World of Warcraft. Guerrero then took the senior producer role for Madden in May taking over for Rex Dickson. Dickson left the Madden series and EA in a mutual agreement after 12 year due to the new direction for the Madden franchise.
Roy Harvey will serve as executive producer until Guerrero's position can be filled. Madden 19 will release on August 10 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC and shouldn't be affected by Guerrero's departure as he only joined the team in May.
