Mafia III Post-Launch DLC Adds More Stories and Car Customization
2K Games outlines Mafia III's Season Pass and what player can expect from the game after launch.
Publisher 2K Games and developer Hangar 13 have announced all of the upcoming DLC for Mafia III, some coming free to players and the rest as paid DLC. In the "free" category, the developers will be adding more character outfits for protagonist Lincoln Clay, more weapons, and far more vehicle customization, including new wheels, paint jobs, and personalized license plates. The free updates will include a series of races separate from the game's narrative.

Mafia III will also be getting three new story expansions. Those who buy the Season Pass, Deluxe, or Collector's Editions will get access to all three story expansions and assorted content. Buying the story expansions separately will set you back $39.97, while the Season Pass will cost $29.99. The Deluxe Edition is your best bet at $79.99, giving you the game and the Season Pass for $19.97 off.
The first, "Faster, Baby", lets Lincoln get his Dukes of Hazzard on. The DLC will feature Lincoln and former lover Roxy Laveau on the outskirts of New Bordeaux, taking down a corrupt, racist Sheriff fighting the local Civil Rights activists. Expect lots of racing, chases, and some slow-motion stunt jumping.
That will be followed by "Sign of the Times", which pits Lincoln against a series of ritualistic serial murders. Close friend Father James sends Lincoln on a quest to stop the killings plaguing the city and put an end to the cult behind them.

Finally, there's "Stones Unturned", featuring Lincoln's military past. He has to join forces with CIA agent John Donovan to settle up on his time in the war-torn jungles of Vietnam.
Mafia III is coming on October 7, for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
