Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Donkey Kong Adventure DLC Now Available on Switch

Swing into action.

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle now has Donkey Kong thanks to the Mario + Rabbid: Donkey Kong Adventure expansion. Play as Donkey Kong in a brand-new story with new gameplay, enemies, and battles.

Mario + Rabbids' Donkey Kong Adventure expansion is a fullsize content add-on that follows Rabbid Peach as she teams up with Donkey Kong and Rabbid Cranky (a Rabbid version of Cranky Kong) and fight through four new environments and face-off against Rabbid Kong. The new expansion is themed around Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong games with bananas, sick jungle beats, and even a mysterious island.

Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle is Ubisoft's strategy game that combines Nintendo's Mario universe and Ubisoft's own Rabbids franchise. Mario + Rabbids was positively reviewed when it came out last year, and we even got a chance to speak with the developers about how they pitched Nintendo on the idea in the first place. The Donkey Kong expansion is the first major expansion for the game.

Ubisoft's next partnership with Nintendo is the upcoming toys-to-life game Starlink which will feature characters from Star Fox. You can also check out our Mario + Rabbids guide here. The Donkey Kong expansion can either be purchased on its own for $14.99, or as part of the season pass for $19.99.
