Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Shows Off New Characters and September Release

We have more heroes coming to the next Marvel vs Capcom, plus the game's villian.

Today, Capcom kicked off a brand-new trailer for Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, showing off the game's overall plot, a few new characters, and a release date! Marvel vs Capcom Infinite will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 19, 2017.

Today's new story trailer shows off the game's plot, with Marvel villain Ultron and Mega Man X antagonist Sigma using the power of the Infinity Gems to merge into Ultron Sigma. In the trailer, Ultron Sigma has taken over Asgard as its extra-dimensional base of operations.

The 2v2 fighter has previously confirmed Captain America, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Mega Man X, Ryu, and Morrigan as playable characters. Today's trailer adds Hawkeye, Hulk, Thor, Rocket Raccoon, Ultron, Strider, Chun-li, and Chris Redfield to the playable roster. This brings the current roster to 14 characters.

In addition, the trailer outlines the game's planned Deluxe Edition, featuring 6 all-new characters, 6 premium costumes, and Sigma as a playable character. The Deluxe Edition also comes with LED-enabled Infinity Stone replicas and statues of Mega Man X, Chun-Li, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man.

Third-person action-adventure games are his personal poison: Uncharted, Infamous, and Assassin's Creed just to name a few. If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
