Marvel's Spider-Man is Getting a New Game Plus Update

Never stop swingin'.

Beaten Spider-Man on PS4? Then Insomniac has some good news for you, as it's hard at work implementing a New Game Plus mode for its smash hit superhero game.

The news comes from Insomniac's very own Twitter account, which you can see just below. When asked if there were any plans for the mode in Spider-Man, the developer stated that it's "working on it now."

For those unfamiliar with the term, 'New Game Plus' is a mode which typically allows you to start a game over from scratch, while keeping your abilities from your previous play through. Take God of War from earlier this year, which also received the New Game Plus mode after launch. The update allowed players to restart Kratos and Atreus' journey, with all their armor and weaponry acquired over the course of the first play through.

Staff Writer

Hirun Cryer is by far the most juvenile member of USgamer. He's so juvenile, that this is his first full-time job in the industry, unlike literally every other person featured on this page. He's written for The Guardian, Paste Magazine, and Kotaku, and he likes waking up when the sun rises and roaming the nearby woods with the bears and the wolves.
