EA will be offering a 10-hour trial of Mass Effect: Andromeda prior to its March 23 release date on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The catch is you have to be an EA Access or Origin Access subscriber. EA Access will have the Mass Effect: Andromeda trial on March 16, 2017. EA Access early trials allow players to carry their trial saves over to the retail game, making it worth your while if you're a diehard Mass Effect fan.
Of course this means that PlayStation 4 owners are out in the cold. EA Access is only available on Xbox One, while Origin Access is the equivalent service on PC. The Access program is $4.99 a month, offering unlimited access to EA's vault of older titles, a 10-percent discount on EA digital purchases, and early trials like this one for Mass Effect: Andromeda.
The EA Access Vault currently contains all three Mass Effect games, Dragon Age: Inquisition, both Mirror's Edge titles, Star Wars Battlefront, FIFA 16, Madden NFL 16, and more.
If you can wait though, Mass Effect: Andromeda will be out on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 23, 2017.
