
Microsoft Studios Acquires Playground Games, Ninja Theory, and Other Studios
Welcome to the Microsoft fam.
Microsoft announced a multitude of acquisitions at Xbox's E3 2018 presentation. Four established studios and one newbie are now under the Microsoft Studios banner.
The studios Microsoft acquired include Playground Games (Forza Horizon), Ninja Theory (Hellblade), Undead Labs (State of Decay 2), and Compulsion Games (We Happy Few). A new studio was announced too: The Initiative.
