Minecraft-Inspired ARK: Survival Evolved Spin-Off Coming to PC, Consoles, and Nintendo Switch

I bet you've never said to yourself, "Gosh, you know what I need? An ARK: Survival Evolved game that utilizes Minecraft-inspired voxels and encourages you to build your dream home in between taming dinosaurs and fighting dragons."

Welcome to life. It's full of surprises, including an upcoming Minecraft / ARK hybrid called PixARK. You still tame / dodge / fight prehistoric monsters and make friends with other creatures in between building shelters and bases. The whole thing looks adorable.

PixARK currently has an early access page on Steam, and you'll be able to indulge in early access (PC and Xbox One) come March. According to the YouTube page for the game's trailer, additional platforms for the final version include the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. Look for those later this year.

"Enter a world of mystery, danger, ancient dinosaurs, mythical beasts, and cubes," states PixARK's early access page. "Work by yourself or with a tribe of others to gather materials, craft useful items, tame wild creatures, and build huge bases to survive in PixARK!"

Dinotopia, here I come.
