Miss the Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct? Here's the Entire Thing in 2 Minutes

Now you might even understand what Spirits do, exactly.

There was a lot to take in with last week's Super Smash Bros Ultimate Nintendo Direct presentation. If you're still reeling and aren't sure what you saw, one fan helpfully condensed the 40-minute showcase into a two-minute video.

The video is published by 53 Second Gaming (and it's one minute and 53 seconds long, but seeing how long the Direct was, we'll give it to 'em). Though the truncated presentation is played for laughs, it's surprisingly informative. The recap of what Smash Ultimate's 'Spirits" do is appreciated, since I don't think I remember anything about Spirits except the new mode is responsible for a lot of beloved Nintendo characters dying.

53 Second Gaming's video also quickly goes over Amiibo, and options for online battle. Oh, and there's a brief look at the new Smash fighters, but I doubt you need reminding about them. You don't easily forget the likes of Ken, Incineroar, and…Piranha Plant.

We're pretty jazzed for the new Smash. We already have tons of Super Smash Bros Ultimate hints, tips, and guides to prepare you for the big day. Want to know the move sets for each Smash Bros Ultimate character? We have those, too. Get yourself pumped for December 7.
