Monster Hunter World Getting New Final Fantasy Behemoth Collaboration Quest

The hefty Final Fantasy Behemoth creature is coming to Monster Hunter World players to take on.

Square Enix and Capcom are all set to cross over two of their most well known franchises. The infamous Behemoth creature from the Final Fantasy series will be arriving in Monster Hunter World for players to kill.

You can see the full trailer for the upcoming Behemoth creature update for Monster Hunter World just below. Although we don't have a specific release date for the new monster, we do know that it will be releasing at some point this Summer, as part of a free update.

This is far from the first time that Monster Hunter World has done collaboration events with other game series. We've previously had Horizon Zero Dawn and Street Fighter 5 events, which let you get hold of Aloy, Ryu, and Sakura's outfits, as well as a Watcher-themed outfit for your Palico.

Speaking of Palico gear, if you stick around until the very end of the announcement trailer just above, you'll see a glimpse of a Cactuar—perhaps a new costume for your Palico.

The Behemoth continues Capcom's slate of post-launch support for Monster Hunter World, all for free. We've previously had the formiddable Deviljho, Kulve Taroth, and most recently the Lunastra creatures to track down and kill in DLC updates. We've also got a full Monster Hunter World Behemoth guide, if you're having trouble beating the beast.
