Monster Hunter: World's Horizon Zero Dawn Collaboration Event Dated and Detailed
Get a chance to earn some Horizon Zero Dawn themed items in Monster Hunter: World.
Back in October 2017, Capcom announced a special collaboration between Monster Hunter: World and Horizon Zero Dawn, though there were no specific details at the time. Today, Capcom announced that the collaboration is set to coincide with the Monster Hunter: World's January 26 release date.

Previously, Capcom announced that in collaboration with Horizon, players will be able to earn special items and weapons including a skin that makes your Palico look like a Horizon robot, Aloy's Bow weapon, and a full Aloy Series armor to dress and even look like Aloy in the game. This collaboration is exclusive to the PS4, probably due to the fact that Horizon is a Sony exclusive and that Monster Hunter: World is a PS4 exclusive in Japan.
The first collaboration event begins on January 26 and is titled "Teachings of the Wild." It is a five star event quest in the Arena field and requires a Hunter Rank of six or higher. To earn the Palico Horizon skin, you must hunt eight Barnos after accepting the quest from "A Heretic Protecting the Field."
Details for the second collaboration event where players will be rewarded with materials to craft Aloy's Bow or Aloy's armor have yet to be dated or detailed.
Our Monster Hunter: World review awarded the game 5/5 Stars calling it, "the definitive Monster Hunter experience." For more info, check out our complete Monster Hunter: World guide for tips to prepare for your great hunt.
